What we collect

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect:

• Email address — to send you updates
• Consent timestamp — to record when you opted in
• IP address hash — a one-way hash of your IP address for abuse prevention (we do not store your actual IP)
• User agent — your browser identification string, for abuse prevention

We also collect anonymous, cookie-free analytics events (page views, button clicks) with hashed IPs. No cookies are set. No third-party tracking pixels or scripts are used.

Why we collect it

• To send you music and project updates you subscribed to
• To understand how the site is used in aggregate
• To prevent abuse and spam

Processors

• Resend (resend.com) — email delivery service, processes your email address to deliver messages
• Cloudflare (cloudflare.com) — DNS and web proxy, may process connection metadata
• This server — self-hosted, stores subscriber data and analytics in a local database

Your rights

• Unsubscribe — every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link
• Data access or deletion — email [email protected] to request a copy or deletion of your data

Retention

Subscriber data is retained for as long as the subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, your record is kept (marked as unsubscribed) to prevent re-sending. You may request full deletion at any time.

Analytics events are retained indefinitely in aggregate form. They contain no personally identifiable information.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted on this page.
